Hand Carved Indian Tika Ceremony Kumkuma Powder Box
Stunning kumkuma powder boxed used to hold powder for use in a tika ceremony. This has a lovely patina with stunning carvings and a peacock on top a sacred bird in Hinduism with links to many deities. The tika ceremony is a Hindu tradition that involves applying a paste called tilak to the forehead of the groom-to-be. This would make a lovely trinket box to hold a few rings or charms.
